The Kyiv Security Forum was launched by the Arseniy Yatsenyuk Foundation Open Ukraine in 2007 is an annual event to high level discussions on the current issues in the Black Sea region and wider Europe.
The debates focus around regional conflicts resolution, economic and energy security, illegal migration, organized crime, refugees, border management, corruption, terrorism, nuclear and conventional weapons proliferation, human trafficking, etc.
Held annually the Forum has become the region’s foremost platform for representatives of regional and global organizations along with the government and independent experts to debate and discuss solutions to both soft and hard European security issues. The Forum brings together top policy leaders – the most respected intellectuals, politicians, academics and journalists – to exchange views on the European security in the atmosphere of open and informal dialogue.
